Netballers make Latymer history winning Middlesex Cup

Congratulations to our 1st VII netball team who won the Middlesex Cup for the first time in the competition’s history.

After qualifying for their region in the preliminary competition, the team went undefeated, beating some of London’s best teams from North London Collegiate School, St Paul’s Girls’ School, Highgate and South Hampstead High School. With a nail biting final game against Godolphin & Latymer the team were crowned Middlesex Champions and lifted the trophy for the first time as a school.

It was a stellar performance by all 9 players: Valentina y11, Sofia Y12, Ella Y12, Emily Y12 Karolina Y12 , Lara Y12, Flossie (Y12) and Captains Cara Y13, Athina (Y13). A special mention to our inspiring captains who have been the epitome of leaders.

“These incredible athletes have worked phenomenally hard this season. They have been a true pleasure to coach and their progress this season is truly phenomenal. We are so proud of this group of students who have made history and their school very proud,” said Miss Harvey, Head of Netball.
