Latymer Upper School’s Art Department hold ‘Jazz, Dance and Sculpture’ Event

The Art department held a fantastic one day event called ‘Jazz / Dance / Sculpture which saw the improvisational Jazz trio ‘Dance Research’ come into school with dancers from The Trinity Laban Music and Dance Conservatoire.

Year 9 students at the end of last academic year made sculptures for the event which was attended by Art GCSE and A Level Art & Photography students.

The event was held in the big art studio and we also had Year 11 music students who played jazz and had a jamming session at lunch time. An all round hub of creativity!
