Activities Week has now been running for sixty-years at Latymer Upper School. It is a life-enhancing, outside-the-classroom educational tradition and this year was just as special.
Students from Years 7-10 and 12 set out on over 35 trips both in the UK and abroad; from London to Amsterdam, Belgium, Dartmoor, Normandy, the Lake District, Pembrokeshire, Rotterdam, Paris and Snowdonia. Activities spanned an entire spectrum of interests: Creative writing, Scuba diving, Climbing on the Jurassic Coast, Cake and Yoga, Kitesurfing, Gastronomy, Photography, Surfing and Theatre, to name but a few.
Our students in Europe had the time of their lives, hiking, exploring iconic landmarks & museums, cruising the river, zooming down zip wires and so much more!
In London our students went scuba diving, had robot wars competitions, visited the theatre, learnt graffiti, photographed our capital city, biked around, rustled up amazing cuisine but alongside all of this, our students created memories, and long-lasting friendships that will outlive their time at Latymer Upper School.
