Latymer Upper School English Department Success

In August, an astonishing eight Latymerians won places to study English at Oxford and Cambridge. Huge congratulations go to Aary, Aggie, Bella, Freya, Grace, Rachel and Sasha. It is with immense sadness that we report the final name, Hannah Lynch who died four days after opening her A Level results (four A*s).

These students all worked exceptionally hard to earn the offers they received in January, and to turn these offers into reality through summer exam success and we are thinking of them as they embark on their futures.

English at Latymer is successful and popular, with 103 students studying English in the Sixth Form in 2024. Since the class of 2013, an incredible 51 Latymerians have earned Oxbridge English offers.
