Latymerian wins Gold for Team GB
Congratulations to Year 12 student, Alec who won gold for Team GB in the Mens VIII at the 2023 Munich International Junior Regatta.
“It was a incredible performance,” said Nick Laws, Latymer’s Head of Boats. “We’re very proud of Alec and the team. A fantastic result.”
Later that month Alec was racing with Latymer Upper School Boat Club at the National Schools Regatta where Latymerians put on an impressive display over the three days of racing. Latymer was the only school to have crews in both the boys’ and girls’ championship VIII finals. They came in a very respectable 7th and 6th places.
