YEAR 9 VIRTUAL ART EXHIBITION

The first week in March is usually the time when we celebrate the artistic creativity of our Year 9 students with an Exhibition in the Atrium Gallery dedicated to them.

This year of course is slightly different, with no physical exhibition, no Private View, no opening party with proud parents and excited exhibitors.

Lockdown hasn’t stopped our young artists making their pieces.  Their creativity has moved from our studios in the Autumn term to bedrooms and kitchen tables this Spring.

We feel that this work deserves to be seen, so we are delighted to be able to showcase our young artists, in Latymer’s first ever Year 9 Virtual Exhibition.  Click here and our Head of Art, David Mumby and his team, will talk you through the collection, the different influences and themes on the works. The gallery spotlights turn from framed images onto your screens at home, so you can choose how best to enjoy the work online.
